The Church of St. Peter offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation to students in second grade. First Reconciliation is offered once per year, and students must present their Baptismal Certificate before receiving the Sacrament.
Students learn the ten commandments, examination of conscience, the difference between good choices and bad choices and sins and mistakes along with God’s promise of salvation.
If you or your student are past second grade and have not made your First Reconciliation, please contact Elizabeth Reding for information on preparing for this sacrament.
The Church of St. Peter offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation every Saturday afternoon from 3:00-3:45 p.m. The parish offers Communal Penance services during Advent and Lent.
