First Reconciliation
The Church of St. Peter offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation to students in second grade. First Reconciliation is offered once per year, and students must present their Baptismal Certificate before receiving the Sacrament.
Students, along with their parents, attend two study sessions, complete a course book, and have the opportunity to visit the confessional and participate in a "practice" confession before receiving the sacrament.
Students learn the ten commandments, examination of conscience, the difference between good choices and bad choices and sins and mistakes along with God's promise of salvation.
