Dear Friends in Christ:
I am proud to present to you the first ever Parish Resource Guide (PRG).
As the name indicates, we hope this document offers valuable
guidance to our parish resources, including staff, ministries, groups, and activities. This guide, however, is meant to be more than just a document; it is meant to be a personal invitation for you to find and connect in new ways to the Church of Saint Peter.

Each one of us, through our baptismal call to discipleship, has been invited to experience, witness, and live as Christian stewards; that is to give freely of our time, talent, and treasure. As the Church of St Peter moves to become a Stewardship parish, we have followed national best practices and identified four “Pillars of Stewardship” (Hospitality, Prayer, Formation, and Service) to help guide us in our journey. We have, where possible, sectioned this PRG into those four areas, to better help you inventory and identify where your God given gifts might be best utilized.

As Saint Peter, our patron, tells us, “Each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace”
(1 Peter 4:10). Please prayerfully consider each of the endeavors listed in this guide, listening to where God might be calling you to share your time and talent with our parish and our community. Lead contact people in each area are anxious to hear from you and to tell you more about the opportunities we have to get involved.

My sincere hope is that the hearts of all of you may be converted to embrace stewardship as a way of life, leading to unprecedented
sharing of our gifts, and a vibrant demonstration of hospitality, prayer, formation and service here at the Church of St Peter.
