Youth Ministry

The Church of St. Peter has an active youth ministry program serving grades 6-12 while also giving opportunities for young adults to become involved. We are guided by the Holy Spirit to bring about a youth ministry program that fully embraces Christ’s call to love and serve one another and to “go and make disciples of the nations” (Matthew 28:19). We work to form disciples through parish involvement, service, fellowship, and prayer.

Fundraising/Donations

A necessary part of supporting strong youth groups and youth ministry in our parish is pulling off successful and fun fundraisers. Youth groups will look at various options throughout the year to help offset costs of our more expensive activities, retreats, conferences, and mission/service trips.

Currently The Youth Group is collecting old cell phones as a fundraiser for our High School programs (retreats, Steubenville Conferences, and mission trips). Please turn in any old cell phones to Elizabeth at the parish office. If you would like a Tax Credit form, you can receive one at the parish office.

If you are interested in sponsoring our youth to attend a retreat or service trip throughout the year, please contact the parish office.

Parent Involvement

The Church of St. Peter youth ministry is always looking for parent volunteers to help chaperone our various activities throughout the year. Furthermore, we are looking for parents or other adults in the community to share their time and talents in helping shape our youth as leaders in and for the Church. Please see below for current volunteer needs or contact Elizabeth if you are interested in helping youth ministry in any other way.
