Who Does Diakonia Help?

Diakonia is our central charitable fund and is used to support our local community. The Diakonia fund feeds families at the Family Service Center in Maplewood, provide food baskets for families at Thanksgiving and Christmas, helps those suffering through unemployment, sickness, financial hardships or other emergency situations, and makes sure people in our community have the necessities in life—the things they are entitled to by their existence as human beings.

How to Contribute

Contributions to Diakonia are tax deductible. Please consider making a donation to help others through this important fund by putting a check or cash donation in the collection basket or sending it to the parish office. Please label your donation “Diakonia”.
