Heavenly Father, we give you thanks and praise for all the gifts we have received from Your generous bounty.
We thank You for the gift of Jesus Christ, for the powerful gift of the Holy Spirit, and the gift of our Catholic Faith.

As a community of faith rooted in Christ, send us now the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit as we seek to build a new dwelling place for Your living presence among us.

Open our hearts so that we might receive Your love and build in us a community of living faith. May we give generously and sacrificially of our many gifts in this noble effort to build a new Temple for You, our Lord. Protect us from harm, unite us in charity and preserve us in peace. We make this prayer through Holy Mary, the first temple of Christ, through St. Peter, our patron and foundation of the Church, and in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
